Help us Help the Environment

We need your old tights!

Don’t throw away those old tights… www.matteroftrust.org is in need of clean, used tights or nylons to help clean up the Gulf oil spill. They can have small runs in them. Tights are sent to volunteers who stuff them with hair, fur or waste wool to create booms. These booms are then placed in heavy plastic netting and put into the Gulf where they attract and absorb the oil.
This method is very effective for helping to remove the oil.

Our Donation Box is located in the downstairs waiting room.
